PAM Wellbeing’s Digital CBT is an effective treatment
for people experiencing a full range of life issues
including; work place stress; relationship issues; debt;
sleep problems; unhelpful coping strategies and as
well as those experiencing symptoms of depression
Based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the course
is made up of 8 online sessions which last
approximately 1 hour and helps clients to understand
the link between how they think and how this
influences their feelings and behaviours. The program
teaches strategies to help them cope better in the
short term and workable skills for life so that they
can face the future with confidence. If all 8 sessions
are completed the modules can be reviewed for up to 1 year. This means that if the employee starts to feel anxious or depressed they can remind themselves of the techniques that they found helpful.
Independent Research has shown that CCBT works for many people with depression and anxiety by teaching practical, lifelong skills to help them feel better and stay better.
PAM Wellbeing’s Digital CBT is powered by Beating the Blues online is recommended by NICE and SIGN (in Scotland) for the treatment of mild to moderate depression.
The programme is supported by our PAM Assist team counsellors who will guide and support the employee through the programme, helping them reach their desired goals. To access the Digital CBT, employees call our PAM Assist Helpline. Our counsellors will complete a triage to ensure all referrals are appropriately allocated to the correct therapeutic pathway. Therefore, naturally, like all other therapy pathways, our counsellors will determine if CCBT is appropriate, or not; on a case by case basis.
CCBT is easy to use, confidential and is available 24/7/365 via a full range of smart devices; laptops, tablets, phones -- offering immediate access to CBT and offers access to full range of CBT techniques.
